Electronic maps Navionics+ resemble traditional official paper maps. The bathymetry is easily recognisable with different coloured shadows, bright areas of lighthouses and realistic shapes and colours of buoys. The sailor can select contour colours to distinguish and identify shallow and dangerous areas, as well as deep waters where it is difficult to drop anchor.

The Navionics developed X-plainTM feature allows the user to visualise a detailed description of important objects by easily clicking the cursor, which immediately opens a dialog presented in clear and easy-to-understand language.

The Navionics+ maps offer a wealth of information on navigational aids, tides and currents, harbour services, etc., which are very much appreciated by sport fishermen, sailors and others involved with yachting.

Electronic navigation maps store navigation points (waypoints) directly on the card, or use a second card (Dummy card) to store navigation points and routes.
