Completely redesigned by Shimano engineers to be the most advanced Metanium > ever produced. 2020 Metanium features the unprecedented Magnesium CoreSolid body, giving professional and enthusiast anglers a solid advantage in durability, stiffness and sensitivity while reducing weight. The new CI4 + Star Drag reduces weight even further. Equipped with an MGL III spool, reducing the spool inertia by 17% compared to the previous generation, while using SVS Infinity braking for maximum adjustment and distances for all bait ranges. Metanium now features a brass MicroModule main gear for greater durability and long-lasting smoothness. Silent Tune reduces spool bearing vibration to maximize casting distance and improve casting feel.
