A motor designed for simple operation is the solution to enjoying your time on the boat. That's why the DF2.5 is equipped with a rotary throttle handle that makes it easy to steer the boat from a seated position and offers full 360-degree rotation - appreciated especially when manoeuvring in small spaces. In addition, the engine has excellent thrust when reversing.
The unit runs quietly and smoothly, thanks in part to a water-cooling system that also increases engine life and durability. The integrated 1-litre fuel tank allows the engine to run for almost an hour on a single fill-up.
Other features of these exceptional engines include the steering and throttle tensioners, the remote control manoeuvre assembly on the starboard side (exactly where you would expect it) and the oil level indicator located at the bottom of the housing for quick and simple oil checks.

The design of the engineDF2.5 is well balanced, lightweight and easy to carry thanks to the large handles. The built-in handle is located at the rear of the motor cover, so it also supports tilting. The motor can be adjusted to one of four positions. This makes it easy to adapt the unit to the specific boat and operating conditions.

Advanced four-stroke technology from Suzuki squeezes even more power out of every drop of fuel compared to two-stroke engines. The units are certified, confirming a three-star rating from the California Air Resources Board (CARB), which means they also offer reduced emissions.
